Working Hard, or Hardly Working?

Yesterday I made the casual observation that our laundry room would be much better suited to be on the first floor out of the basement to eliminate all those flights of steps, skinned knuckles, and stubbed toes. Also, many of you know me not to be much of a procrastinator. So it shouldn't surprise you when 3 hours later my kitchen had dry foods scattered and holes in the plaster. Now, at this time I should mention that Scott was a very good sport about all the extra work and did a fantastic job. Looks like that laundry room is going to be moved sooner rather than later and, fingers crossed, way before Maddie's party in a couple of weeks. Wish me luck and enjoy the pictures.

Happy Valentine's Day!

On Friday, Maddie started her Valentine's Day celebration by wearing this Valentine's Day outfit her grandma got for her this summer to her weekly library time. Ever since Friday she has wanted to wear the hat that matches this outfit.

Then on Saturday Maddie celebrated Valentine's Day by spending the day with Nana and Grumps while Mommy and Daddy worked at the auction. Maddie spent the night with Nana and Grumps while Mommy and Daddy went to dinner and relaxed. What a nice Valentine's treat!

On Sunday, Valentine's Day, Maddie wore a Peanuts t-shirt. We celebrated the day by eating dinner at Grandma's church with the entire Lutz Family and Nana and Grumps met us there also. What a great 2nd Valentine's Day weekend for Maddie!! Hopefully, she will get to pass out her Valentine's at the babysitter's on Monday!

SO MANY SNOW DAYS!

During the past week we have been hit with two different snow storms. The first storm caused Franklin County to dismiss at 1:00 on Friday before 6 inches of snow fell. Lutz Auction Center even had to move their auction to Sunday instead of Saturday. Then Monday night storm #2 came and dumped another 6 inches of snow. While I enjoy having a few snow days...I don't want to go to school in the middle of June, which will be happening thanks to Tony Bennett (Superintendent of State of Indiana Schools).

The snow does look pretty outside of our back door. Due to the strong winds this morning, I can't even see Scott's tracks from where he pulled out of the garage this morning to go to work.

BUCKET HEAD!

On Sunday, when we went to go to Grandma and Grandpa's for Sunday night dinner, Maddie took off her winter hat and insisted on wearing her 'bucket hat'. She often wears the bucket around the house and she thinks it is so funny. Grandpa said, "That girl is not right!" So we are hoping she really doesn't turn into a bucket head!
