Liam is 7 Months!

Liam turned 7 months old on Valentine's Day! He waved at me for the first time during dinner on Monday night. Here he is waving at the camera. This is the new outfit he got from Grandma for Valentine's Day.

Liam loves to play with his Weeble-Wobble toy! It is funny how he is beginning to show preference for certain toys.

Maddie wanted to pose with Liam and as you can tell from this picture, he doesn't hardly take his eyes off of her. She is sporting her Valentine's Day shirt.

Liam decided it would be fun to try and lay down on the floor on his own. So he is giving it a try!

Once Liam got down to the floor, he got on his belly and instantly found a toy to chew on. He is going to be crawling before we know it.

Liam is posing for the camera, getting into his future crawling position. Being 7 months is so fun!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Maddie and Liam had an enjoyable Valentine's Day weekend by spending Saturday night with Grandma and Grandpa and going to church and Sunday school with Grandma. This is Maddie and Liam with hanging out at Grandma's in their Valentine's Day shirts.

Maddie enjoyed stamping and drawing with her new robot stamps that she got for Valentine's Day from Mommy and Daddy. The stamps have been keeping her really busy this week.

I had to post this picture because this is the same face that Scott makes when he concentrates on something. I have noticed lately that Maddie makes the same face also.

SHREK SIGHTING!

Last Friday, Wee Wonders started back up at the Logan Branch Library. Before library time, while picking out Valentine books, Jake discovered this Shrek corner. So Maddie and Jake had to pose in front of it.

Jake is a SHREK fanatic! Maddie and Jake took turns being Shrek.

SICK DAYS!

On Monday, when I went to pick the kids up from the baby sitter's house, I meet two sick kiddos! Chris had given Maddie Tylenol when she got up from nap because she had a fever. Liam was still sleeping when I got there at 4:15 and he had been sleeping since 2:00. Liam had this cough that sounded like a 70 year old man that smokes two packs a day. His whole body would shake after coughing.

When we got home, Liam just sat in his bouncy seat and was in a constant sleepy state.

He even fell asleep in the bathtub!

On Tuesday, Scott took the kids to the doctor with my mom. Maddie has a double ear infection. Liam has an upper respiratory infection. Both are beginning to feel better now that they are on antibiotics. I hope this is our one and only illness this winter. I am crossing my fingers right now!

Megan Marie's Baptism

On Sunday, Megan Marie Lutz was baptized. Scott and I were the proud godparents. She didn't even cry when Father Bernie poured the holy water over her head. She just woke up, which made for good pictures because then she had her eyes open for the pictures.

We tried to get a group picture with everyone, but poor Jake was worn out from having a slumber party at Grandma and Grandpa's house and going to church with Grandma. Liam just can't keep his eyes off of baby Megan.

Maddie's line of the week

We took a good ol' fashion family trip to the Home Depot on Friday night to pick up some toys for Daddy. On the way home Maddie was sitting in the back quiet and her breathing was heavier than normal since she has a cold. The following short conversation was just too funny to not share.

Mom: "Maddie, are you okay? I can hear you breathing."

Maddie: "I am?"...."YEAH, I DID IT!"


And she has never been more proud about any other accomplishment in life yet.

I just can't wait to hear what Liam says, or if Maddie will try to speak his funny lines too.
